The project will consist of 226 apartments and will include a variety of housing types from studios to 2-bedroom plus den units. We are proposing two new five-story buildings with covered parking on parts of first floor and residential above. We are actively seeking special funding sources to make up to 20% or 45 of the units affordable to households earning 60% of the Area Median Income. We are also planning for about 12,000 square feet of commercial retail or office space on the first floor along Marshall Ave. This space will complement the apartments and offer tremendous visibility for the commercial tenant. Built on the site of a historic Stockyard Inn Restaurant site, the project will preserve a historic building to repurpose as a community space and link between the past and present.
